Marcelo Bielsa would gladly welcome Ronaldo Vieira to Leeds this month, loan move mooted - report

Marcelo Bielsa would "gladly welcome" Sampdoria midfielder Ronalod Vieira back to Leeds United this month.

That's according to Doria46, who report on their website that a loan move is possible from the Italian side to Elland Road.

Vieira has endured a nightmare year packed with injury, but he has finally returned to training in recent weeks.

It is still reported that the fitness of the midfielder remains an "unknown factor" that could be a concern.

Roberto D'Aversa has the player back available, who will try and prove himself to the manager in the coming weeks.

Kalvin Phillips is not set to return to action until March at the earliest, something that has seen Leeds look into the market.

Adam Forshaw has been a standout since returning from his own problem, but next in line behind him is currently Lewis Bate, who hasn't even made his senior debut yet.
