It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Leeds United beat Millwall 3-2 last night but it was no thanks to referee Darren England who put in a bewilderingly bad performance.

You don't have to take our word for it. Journalists Beren Cross and Phil Hay, and even Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani all had their say on England too.

One of his worst blunders was when he missed the ball going out of play before awarding Millwall a penalty in the first half.

The tackle was stupid but play should have been stopped before.

Phil Hay said England was guilty of "baffling officiating", while Andrea Radrizzani said he was "speechless" and that the refereeing wasn't acceptable for a professional league.

Radrizzani sent that just before the start of the second half and perhaps wished he hadn't now.

However, we've talked a lot about the level of officials in the Championship and whether Leeds get the worst of it or not, it's not good enough.

One Leeds fans posted a clip on Twitter which has to go down as one of the worst decisions on the night.

England was standing right in front of the shot from Stuart Dallas and must have seen what was a decent – and obvious – save from the Millwall keeper.

However, England pointed for a goal kick and Leeds fans were not happy.

Rightly so as well. Referees' decisions could have a huge impact on the game and the season for Leeds and for the club the stakes couldn't be higher.

The EFL should acknowledge that some of the referees they employ aren't good enough and do something about it.

Some Leeds fans think it goes further and have accused the EFL of corruption.

We're not going that far but they should be embarrassed by some of the decisions last night and hopefully they'll reflect on some of these tweets from angry Leeds fans...
