It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

The Premier League has a meeting scheduled for tomorrow and one of the points up for discussion is promoting Leeds United and West Brom, and playing with 22 teams next season.

According to the Daily Star, the Premier League's chief executive Richard Masters is still keen for the season to play to a conclusion.

However, another discussion point will be setting a deadline of June 30 for the Premier League to finish whether all the remaining games are done or not.

Playing to a conclusion and relegating/promoting three teams, or stopping the Premier League early and promoting Leeds and West Brom... Either of these two solutions would work for us and it looks like we're set to get a major update following the meeting tomorrow.

The EFL plays by its own rules but the Championship and Premier league are obviously inextricably linked.

We think the EFL will take its next lead from the Premier League meeting on Friday and the logistics are complicated.

No one knows when football can re-start again, even behind closed doors.

Then there's the issue of player contracts expiring on June 30, with possibly no legal means of ensuring contracts can be automatically extended.

That might affect clubs lower down the league structure more than it would Leeds or Premier League sides, but it's a major potential problem.
