'Love him already', 'Superb' - Some Leeds fans thrilled with latest comments by Augustin

Leeds United fans are thrilled to hear Jean-Kevin Augustin's comments in his first press conference since joining the Yorkshire giants this week.

Leeds signed Augustin, 22, on loan for the rest of the season from RB Leipzig and have the opportunity to sign him on a permanent basis in the summer.

Although the French striker did not play on Tuesday night in the 3-2 win against Millwall, he was sat in the stands at Elland Road to take in the stadium's famous atmosphere for the first time.

Augustin took to his personal Twitter account to hail the "incredible" atmosphere at Elland Road as the Whites came from two goals down to beat Millwall, but his impressive comments have not stopped there.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference on Thursday, ahead of Leeds' clash against Wigan this weekend, Augustin claimed that the support shown by the supporters is enough to make him want to die for the club.

"It really does make you want to die for the club," said Augustin on Thursday, as quoted by The Athletic journalist Phil Hay.

Leeds fans, understandably, are loving Augustin's comments.

They want to see players show passion for the club and show pride in wearing the shirt.

Although Augustin is yet to play, we can already see that is something that he is going to offer for Marcelo Bielsa for at least the rest of the season.
