Leeds United still have Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou in their crosshairs as they plot yet another new transfer, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish outlet has reported on its website that the days are numbered for the 31-year-old, who has been one of the best to ever pull on the shirt at the La Liga club.

Leeds are said to be eyeing a move for next season, with the door open for Sevilla to listen to offers for the stopper simply known as "Bono."

Described as "extraordinary" it appears as though the Spanish club have no choice but to let him go given the glowing reference coming from each angle.

West Ham United are also said to be interested as they look to rival Leeds for Bono, who now appears to be destined for the Premier League.

The Moroccan has a contract until 2024 at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, meaning Victor Orta will need to start getting that chequebook open from the club if desperate.

Strange.

This just appears relatively pointless.

Whether Bounou is one of the best to ever pull on the Sevilla shirt or not, is there any chance that Illan Meslier will not be the number one at Elland Road for years to come?

Unless someone comes in with a huge offer for the young keeper, he is going nowhere and will only keep racking up the appearances as he deserves to.

Joel Robles has plenty of experience and has become somewhat of a coach it seems while playing his understudy at Elland Road, so that blend works perfectly.

Bounou has Champions League experience and has been stunning in recent years, but unless he became available for nothing or Meslier was to leave, it just makes no sense.

Orta has bigger problems to deal with right now, like finding a new number nine and another left-back - two areas that fans would explode if not sorted within the next year.

All eyes are on Elland Road, not Seville.
