Paul Robinson was wowed by Manor Solomon after his assist for Largie Ramazani to score the winner for Leeds United against Harrogate Town.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live (11 January, 19:01), Robinson lauded the 25-year-old for his impact in the 1-0 win at Elland Road, as he crossed for the winger to head home in the FA Cup third-round tie.

Daniel Farke's side earned a slender win against their League Two neighbours but dominated as expected throughout, securing passage to the fourth round.

"It's the best player on the pitch, Manor Solomon again - he turns provider this time, he lifts it up into the middle and it's a free header for Ramazani in the middle of the goal," Robinson raved.

"Solomon does really well down this left-hand side, Leeds work it over, Pascal Struijk plays it into Solomon and he's still got a lot to do, one-on-one with his defender.

"Ramazani is completely unmarked, which is unlike Harrogate in this game, and heads into an empty net to give Leeds a deserved lead."

Manor Solomon makes a key Leeds United impact

Solomon's assist for Ramazani marks an eighth goal contribution for his tally since arriving at Leeds United on loan from Tottenham in the summer.

The winger was far from the only player involved in deals between the two clubs in the previous window, as Joe Rodon also arrived from North London with Archie Gray going the other way.

A player who has been unable to sustain a regular run of football since coming to England, Solomon could find himself at Leeds for the long haul if he continues his impressive performances out wide.

Farke has plenty of attacking firepower to choose from in the Championship this campaign but has trusted Solomon more in recent weeks with the former Fulham ace earning regular starts.

Having dispatched their neighbours Harrogate - who put in a valiant effort - Leeds will learn their FA Cup fourth-round opponents on Sunday (12 January).
