Steve Wilson was impressed with Leeds United attacker Manor Solomon in the first half of the Bristol City clash.

While promotion has already been secured, the Whites are keen on winning the title and ending the season with 100 points.

They’re on course to achieve that as they lead 1-0 at half-time at Elland Road on Monday night.

Solomon lauded for glorious assist against Bristol City

Solomon played a key role in ensuring that the hosts went into the break with a one-goal lead.

The Israeli winger found the ball at his feet on the left flank and dinked it into the box, exploiting major space in behind the defence.

Tanaka was on the same page as the winger and he found the pass beautifully to slot it past the goalkeeper.

Wilson, a BBC commentator, said on the EFL world feed: “What a ball that is from Manor Solomon. Absolutely magnificent. He knocked it into acres of space where only Tanaka is present. It is a glorious ball.”

Leeds United must start the second half strongly as well

At half-time in Leeds United’s clash against Bristol City, Daniel Farke’s message to his squad will likely focus on maintaining intensity and capitalising on their lead to secure the Championship title and pursue their 100-point target.

He’ll commend Solomon’s assist and Tanaka’s clinical finish, urging the team to replicate that sharpness while tightening defensively, with Ethan Ampadu playing a key role, to prevent Bristol City from exploiting counter-attacks.

The German will likely emphasise sustained possession and quick transitions, encouraging wingers like Solomon to continue exploiting spaces behind the defence.

He’ll likely stress discipline to avoid complacency, given that promotion is secured and rally the squad to deliver for the Elland Road faithful.

Fans will expect an aggressive second half, with Leeds pushing for a second goal to kill the game, utilising the creativity among their ranks.

Substitutions, possibly introducing fresh legs, could maintain energy.

The Whites will aim to dominate possession, create chances and showcase the attacking prowess that has defined their title-chasing campaign, ensuring a celebratory finish.
