Leeds United 'to take extra step' to seal Igor Paixao transfer

Leeds United are keen on securing the services of Feyenoord winger Igor Paixao in the summer transfer window.
Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has issued a verdict on a setback he sustained on 11 July, which has kept him out of pre-season action.
He faces a recovery period of several weeks and will be missing the start of the upcoming season.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Paixao: "Leeds may take a closer look at his recent muscular injuries, particularly if his recent injury on 11 July is related to his previously disclosed thigh or hamstring injuries.
"If it does not seem to have long-term ramifications, they would likely go ahead with it, weighing the risk/reward.
"However, they will carefully assess it before green-lighting it."

Despite Paixao's recent muscle injury, his potential signing could be transformative for Leeds United, potentially determining their Premier League survival.
