Right move

The 28-year-old is a big-name left-back who is going to the World Cup and because of Nuno Mendes, may not be a regular starter for them.

However, he's had incredible moments in a Portugal jersey in big tournaments and he's undoubtedly a player that would improve Leeds' options at left-back.

In 2016, Cristiano Ronaldo waxed lyrical over him and said that he would want his Portugal teammate to join Real Madrid over other world-class players from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. [Goal]

However, that move never panned out, but the 28-year-old could be tempted to finally seal a move.

Being in the Bundesliga for so many years, Guerreiro may want to try a different challenge and nothing gets better than playing in the Premier League.

Leeds appear to be pretty serious about signing him, having failed to bring in a left-back all summer and according to TEAMtalk [6 November], they are readying a contract for the Portugal international to sign.
