Leeds United could start Joe Gelhardt for the game against Manchester City on Tuesday (December 14) in the Premier League.

Ahead of the game, Bielsa confirmed on Twitter, “No new injuries, no new players returning.”

This means that Leeds will be without Patrick Bamford, Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper as well as Robin Kock and Pascal Struijk.

The 19-year-old came off the bench to devastating effect against Chelsea over the weekend.

His goal should have given the Whites a point from their travels to west London, but they returned empty-handed from the capital.

Despite conceding a penalty, Marcelo Bielsa may look to get Mateusz Klich in to seize control of the midfield.

We see Dan James dropping out of the eleven with Leeds playing Stuart Dallas, Adam Forshaw and Klich in midfield.

City are all but certain to play a midfield three and it will be important for the Argentine to match them man for man all over the pitch or he risks seeing his side getting outplayed on the day.

Jack Harrison could be the other change for Leeds as he played the full 90 minutes in a physically-demanding position on Saturday and may come off the bench like James.

Due to the various injuries, the back line almost picks itself with Luke Ayling playing out of position at centre-back.

Leeds will be delighted that Jamie Shackleton is back to full fitness and we expect to see him starting at right-back.
