Jesse Marsch has confirmed that Adam Forshaw and Diego Llorente are available for the Leeds United v Aston Villa clash.

Patrick Bamford is set to be on the bench again, but Marsch has stated that he will play some minutes in the second half.

Kalvin Phillips continues to be ruled out despite being spotted in training on Wednesday.

Via LeedsLive, Marsch said, “Patrick will play for sure tomorrow. He won’t start but he’ll be ready from the bench. Forshaw told me he hasn’t felt this good in weeks. Diego has been in full training today.”

Llorente's availability means that Luke Ayling can move back to his customary right-back position.

He partnered Pascal Struijk in centre-back against Leicester with Robin Koch playing in midfield.

The Spaniard could play alongside Koch at the heart of the defence with Junior Firpo at left-back.

Stuart Dallas, who played right-back against Leicester, is expected to move into midfield to give them legs with Forshaw to his side ahead of Mateusz Klich.

Dan James led the line against the Foxes, but he is not a goal scorer.

This could see Marsch moving him to the left number 10 slot in place of Jack Harrison, with Joe Gelhardt coming in as a surprise inclusion to lead the line with Rodrigo.

Marsch has fancied a 4-2-2-2 formation and this set of players may give him the best chance to pick up his first win as Leeds boss.
