Simon Jordan was taken aback by the thought of Leeds United welcoming Millwall to Elland Road for an FA Cup clash.

Millwall are set to face National League side Dagenham & Redbridge at the Den on Monday (13 January), with the victor winning a trip to Elland Road on Saturday 8 February in the fourth round.

Leeds versus Millwall is often a feisty affair, with the clash usually promising plenty of goals, the scene will be set if Alex Neil's side can bypass their opposition on Monday night.

Speaking live via talkSPORT [13 January, 11:36am], Jordan said: "Have they drawn them at Millwall or Leeds away?" and after being told the fixture will be played at Elland Road, he said: "Oh, blimey."

Leeds United versus Millwall to potentially unfold in FA Cup

As pointed out above, clashes between these two sides can often be quite exciting, with 10 yellow cards being handed out in the last two meetings alone.

They have also not experienced a goalless draw in any meetings since 2010, with three or more goals being scored in five of the last eight matches between the two Championship sides.

Of course, the FA Cup can throw form completely out the window as seen by Tamworth's resolute performance against Tottenham at The Lamb Ground on Sunday 12 January.

With the Lions more focused on staying away from the relegation zone than pushing for the Championship play-off spots right now, a run in the FA Cup could be exactly what they need.

On the other hand, the Whites' main ambition this term is to secure promotion back to the Premier League, which might favour an early exit from the competition for Daniel Farke's men.

If Millwall are able to make it past Dagenham on Monday night, it promises to be an interesting battle ahead at Elland Road in the fourth round.
