Everton loanee Jack Harrison has responded to a post from Leeds United full-back Junior Firpo on social media.

Firpo uploaded video footage of himself from before, during and after Leeds' 3-1 win over Leicester City last Friday (23 February).

The former Barcelona player captioned the clip - posted on his personal Instagram account [26 February] - "About last Friday night".

Harrison, who joined Everton on loan from Leeds last summer, replied with three clapping hand emojis.

Everton loanee Jack Harrison facing uncertain future

Firpo was not always Daniel Farke's go-to man at left-back in the first half of the campaign, but he has more than grown into the role.

Leeds are on a remarkable run of form, helped by a superb defensive unit - albeit they were slightly off it against Leicester.

Firpo has assisted four goals for the Whites this season, while playing a part in eight clean sheets in 12 appearances this calendar year alone.

Should the defender continue this form, and indeed Leeds continue winning games, he will be back in the Premier League next season.

Indeed, as we approach the business end of the campaign, Farke's men are still on for a "minor miracle" that could give the Football Association a headache.

Where Harrison will be plying his trade beyond this summer is much less clear. The winger is only due to be on loan with Everton until the summer.

It seems likely that Harrison will depart permanently, but it will be interesting to see Leeds' stance should they indeed earn promotion.

One thing for certain is that this current group of players is far more likeable than the squad that went down from the top flight last time out.
