Leeds United are reportedly in talks for three different strikers over potential moves to Elland Road.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post [7 January], Hoffenheim's Georginio Rutter is one of them but the other two remain unnamed as of now.

Jesse Marsch is keen on adding a striker to his ranks this month after signing defender Max Wober from RB Salzburg.

Making moves

With all this planning, we'd be really surprised if the Whites do not end up signing a first-team striker in January.

They were linked with many over the summer, but left things right until deadline day and after a chaotic few hours, they finally signed Willy Gnonto.

This time around, it seems like Marsch has pressured the board to give him a senior striker and the fact that they're in talks with three players at the same time tells you how serious they are.

If the striker is signed within the next few days, Victor Orta and the entire recruitment team deserve the utmost credit for being so efficient in the market.

They managed to secure Wober's transfer within days and look to be moving with great speed to sign another striker too.

It remains to be seen who eventually ends up moving to Elland Road as Rutter has been linked but for big money and his goal-scoring record is not, particularly eye catching.
