Leeds United are on a superb run under Daniel Farke, with the manager picking up win after win at the Elland Road club.

But they now face one of their toughest tests of the season, with league leaders Leicester City travelling to West Yorkshire on Friday (23 February).

That match is undoubtedly the priority for Farke and his players as they look to close the gap at the top of the Championship.

But Whites fans have unsurprisingly already got one eye on their huge FA Cup clash with Premier League giants Chelsea.

Stamford Bridge plays host to the fifth round tie next Wednesday (28 February), in what will be a very exciting away day for the travelling Whites fans.

Unfortunately, however, their journey has been made much more difficult thanks to London North Eastern Railway (LNER).

One angry fan took to X on Wednesday (21 February) to share his frustration at train ticket prices, writing: “Country is a joke. LNER making the 23.33 train £220 knowing Leeds fans need to get back to Leeds and won’t make the 22.00 train when that is £47.”

LNER responded, but it is very bad news for Leeds fans, with the company replying: “Hello. That service is fully booked so, you'd be buying an anytime ticket (the most expensive) in order to board hence the price difference. Apologies about this.”

Train ticket prices in England really are shameful, with companies constantly pricing out people - football fans and non-football fans alike - from making journeys throughout the country.

Leeds fans will undoubtedly still travel to London in their numbers for the highly-anticipated tie, set to prove once again just how loyal a fanbase they are.
