Leeds United 'consider Cesc Fabregas appointment' as new Red Bull twist emerges
Leeds United could be in the market for a new manager following their promotion from the Championship.
Daniel Farke achieved promotion at the second time of asking as Leeds United manager, but it was a stressful campaign as the Whites nearly found themselves in the play-offs again.
It has now been reported that Leeds could part ways with Farke despite his promotion, and the club want to find a hidden gem who can help keep them up against the odds.
With Bournemouth's joy under Andoni Iraola an inspiration, Leeds have seemingly turned to another former Spanish player turned manager in Cesc Fabregas.
Red Bull want to hire Fabregas at Leeds
Red Bull are minority stakeholders in Leeds United, who are predominantly owned by 49ers Enterprises, but they could now play a huge part in the search for a new manager.
It has been reported by TBR Football (24 April) that Leeds are interested in hiring former Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder Fabregas as their new manager in the Premier League.

Red Bull, who also own German side RB Leipzig, have also tried to bring Fabregas to the Bundesliga, but so far have failed to convince him to move.
Fabregas is impressing in his first year of management at FC Como in Serie A, and several sides are keen on him alongside Leeds.
49ers want long-term Premier League survival
It is claimed that the interest in Fabregas, and Farke's potential exit, is to try and ensure that Leeds can stay in the Premier League in the long term.
In the past two seasons, every single promoted side has been relegated instantly, with sides coming up from the Championship struggling to compete against the financial backing the Premier League sides have received.
Leeds' dip in form in March, as well as Farke's handling of the Illan Meslier situation, are said to have played a part in the decision to hire a new manager, and Fabregas is desired as a potential long-term option.
It remains to be seen whether he will be keen on joining, but the 49ers clearly have an objective in mind that will see Leeds move past Farke and try to compete at the top.
