Leeds United are reportedly set to complete another backroom appointment by bringing in Ed Wootten from Norwich City to be their goalkeeping coach.

According to Pink Un [8 July], he is set to leave his role at Norwich with Paul Clements to replace him at Carrow Road.

Eddie Riemer, Chris Domogalla and Christopher John have all been appointed to Daniel Farke's backroom staff and Wootten is set to be the latest addition.

Good move

Farke has wasted no time in getting the desired coaches he wants and this will now be his fourth appointment since taking over at the helm.

Once news emerged of Marcos Abad wanting to leave the club, it was evident that the German would be bringing in someone to look after the goalkeepers.

Abad was at Elland Road for six years so multiple managers worked with him and did not feel that he needed replacing.

However, Farke believes that he wants coaches who share his philosophy at Elland Road and it's good to see him being backed by the club.

It remains to be seen if there will be any more backroom additions or if this ends the overhaul for the German.

He certainly will want to kick start the transfer recruitment process as two first-team players have already left and more are likely to follow.
