Leeds United ace Jaidon Anthony sends Dominic Solanke message after career milestone in Bournemouth v Nottingham Forest

Leeds United winger Jaidon Anthony has sent a three-word social media message to Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.

It comes after the latter netted his first senior hat-trick as the Cherries beat Nottingham Forest on Saturday (23 December).

Bournemouth forward Solanke scored all three of his club’s goals as they won the Premier League clash 3-2 at the City Ground.

The striker took to social media to celebrate the goals, with Solanke posting on Instagram on Sunday (24 December): “Xmas hat-trick! Merry Christmas.”

The Cherries star received several messages after his feat, including one from Leeds ace Anthony, who commented: “3 piece combo.”

Star man

Solanke hasn’t always had it so easy in his career, with the striker struggling for goals at Liverpool before making the switch to Bournemouth in January 2019.

But he has been absolutely thriving lately, with the 26-year-old netting a very impressive hat-trick to seal an important win for his club in Nottingham.

The Cherries moved up to 12th place in the Premier League table following the three points, leaving Nottingham Forest in 17th, just two points outside the relegation zone.

Solanke is clearly very popular on the south coast, with his Bournemouth teammate Anthony among his supporters. The duo have been through plenty of ups and downs together for the Cherries, with the latter currently on loan at Elland Road from the Premier League club.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the Whites loanee, who has struggled for game time under Daniel Farke in recent times.

In other Leeds United news, one club plans to announce a new signing from the Whites in early January, according to Fabrizio Romano.
