Kalvin Phillips has been praised by his Leeds United teammates on his recent Instagram post.

The Leeds midfielder put in yet another tireless performance for England at Euro 2020 and ensured that his side beat Denmark 2-1 in the semi-final to set up a final date against Italy at Wembley.

After the game, Phillips took to Instagram to thank the fans and praise his teammates for a spirited performance against a resolute Danish side.

Jamie Shackleton, Luke Ayling, Leif Davis and Bryce Hossanah were among the Whites players to wax his lyrical in the comments.

He was also praised by his national team compatriots Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice.

Ex-Leeds players like Izzy Brown and Alex Mowatt also replied, as you can see below.

Impressing fans and pros

The Leeds faithful aren't the only ones blown away by Phillips' performances. Now, an entire nation is singing his praises and this is just the start.

Neutrals often called him overrated because they never watched him play, but since we've played in the Premier League, everyone's started to take note of the player.

We're certain that the players in the comments look up to Phillips in training at Thorp Arch and he's a model example for the youngsters coming up through the ranks at the club.

He's proven that hard work and determination can take one all the way to the top - starting in a EUROs semi-final and possibly nailed on for a spot in the playing XI in Sunday's finale against Italy.

He had the freedom to venture forward against Denmark on Wednesday, but we're expecting him to play a more disciplined role in the final.

Italy have a fluid midfield three of Jorginho, Marco Verratti and Nicolo Barella and Phillips along with Declan Rice will be prepared for a battle if they are to come out on top against the Azzuri.
