Leeds United are celebrating their Championship title win in style, with a massive crowd gathered for the bus parade.

The Whites secured top spot in the league dramatically after Manor Solomon scored in stoppage time against Plymouth Argyle at Home Park, handing the visitors a 2-1 win.

Burnley have been on the West Yorkshire outfit's tails for most of the season and ended level on points with them, only losing out on goal difference.

Scott Parker's team have been impressive in the Championship, but now the Elland Road faithful are out in full force after what the Peacocks have been able to achieve.

Championship title celebrations see 150,000 Leeds United supporters turn up

Around 150,000 have attended the Whites' bus parade to celebrate winning the league title, Graham Smyth says.

The YEP journalist shared on X (5 May) that the Leeds City Council estimates that around 150,000 people are out on the streets cheering on the West Yorkshire outfit.

There have been some wild scenes as the Elland Road faithful have turned out in significant numbers to show their appreciation for the Peacocks' achievements.

Daniel Farke's team have won the Championship with 100 points and will play in the Premier League after a two-year exile.

Farke sees support from Elland Road faithful after title win

Farke's future at Elland Road was in doubt after speculation about 49ers Enterprises looking for a new manager to lead the Whites in the top flight.

Paraag Marathe has now backed the former Norwich City boss, and a huge summer transfer window is coming up for the West Yorkshire outfit.

The Peacocks must back the German head coach with quality reinforcements to tackle the rigours of the Premier League.

Leeds have made the right call to stick by Farke ahead of next season, but they must give him the right tools to succeed.

It's true that the German manager had an underwhelming record with the Canaries in the English top flight, and he needs to prove some people wrong at Elland Road.

While the West Yorkshire outfit had one of the best squads in the Championship, they arguably need to bolster every department of their team next summer.

The 49ers should sanction the arrival of a new goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and striker at least to build a team capable of surviving immediate relegation.

With fans turning up in numbers to show their support for Farke and the Peacocks, what the American owners do remains to be seen.
