Lee Hendrie was left stunned by Leeds United after their 3-1 win against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.

The Whites went 2-1 up in the 74th minute before Brenden Aaronson secured all three points for his side in added time at Elland Road on 10 December.

The victory has seen Daniel Farke's side return to the top of the table as they continue to build their momentum in the promotion race.

Speaking live on Sky Sports, via X, Hendrie was blown away by the final goal: "Frightening, absolutely frightening.

"Scary how quick they attack, really is. The movement is absolutely fantastic again."

More goals for Daniel Farke and Leeds United

The Whites are looking to rebuild a run of wins in the league as they picked up another three points against Middlesbrough.

Although they conceded in the 54th minute following a Max Wober own goal, Farke's side showed yet again that they have the tenacity as well as the attacking prowess to get themselves back in front when it is needed the most.

Aaronson's goal was a perfect example of their ability to score as their attacking players were quick to push up the pitch and get into the box when they were on the break, which gave them plenty of options when it came to getting the finishing touch.

While it is a long season ahead, if the Whites can keep up this form until the end of the season they will surely find themselves in an automatic promotion spot at the end of the campaign.

Farke will no doubt receive many plaudits for his entertaining side along the way too, no matter if the fans think it is boring at times.
