Plenty of Leeds United players left the club during the summer transfer window.

Mateo Joseph left Leeds to join Mallorca on loan in the summer transfer window in order to gain more game time.

Joseph posted online after Mallorca's 3-1 win over Sevilla on Saturday, with Ramazani and Firpo reacting to what he put on social media.

Joseph scored a brace for Mallorca in their 3-1 win against Sevilla on Saturday.

After the match, Joseph posted his feat on Instagram, with many former Leeds stars reacting to his achievement.

Ramazani reacted to the post saying, "My boyo," whilst Firpo commented: "Vamos mi hijo!," which translates to "Let's go my son!"

Former Leeds player Archie Gray was also among the people responding, and he replied with a series of love heart eyes emojis.

Joseph has a huge future ahead of him, as he has flourished when playing for the Spain U20 national side.

With six goals in seven matches, Joseph has become a real threat at youth level for his country, and on Saturday, he registered his first La Liga goals for his loan club.

Joseph was not up to Premier League standard according to Daniel Farke, but he will hope to prove him wrong with his spell in Spain.

Mateo Joseph could have made an impact for Leeds in the Premier League

Joseph featured 41 times for Leeds in their title-winning 2024-25 Championship season, and the 20-year-old was sent out on loan with the aim of developing even further.

While this was a smart decision in the summer, Leeds' woes in converting their chances in the top flight may prove otherwise.

Joseph's brace against Sevilla means he has scored the same number of goals that Joel Piroe, Dominic-Calvert-Lewin, and Lukas Nmecha have combined.

Calvert-Lewin has faced questions at Leeds for his wasteful tendencies in front of goal, whilst there will always be a question mark over Nmecha's fitness.

Joseph may not have excelled in the Premier League at his current age, although there is a strong case to make that he would have been more effective than some of Farke's options.
