Karen Carney believes that Patrick Bamford should be doing more and slammed him for his miss in the Leeds United v Leicester City clash.

The Foxes visited Elland Road on Tuesday, and with the game heading towards a stalemate the English striker had the glorious opportunity to win the match for his side.

However, he made a mess out of it and failed to find the target from four yards and an empty net to hit the ball into.

Speaking on Premier League Productions' post-match show, Carney said [25/04, 22:12], "That Bamford miss. Big moment. He could've side footed it. Cost them the three points. He knows that's a huge opportunity. Doesn't even hit the target."

Mess everywhere

While everyone can blame Bamford for the miss and the reason for Leeds not getting the three points, problems at Elland Road run deeper.

Javi Gracia picked another questionable eleven and left Willy Gnonto out of it despite his ability to be the difference maker.

Marc Roca and Weston McKennie continued in midfield even though their performances have been abject over the past few weeks.

These are decisions that can cost the Spaniard dearly and he perhaps isn't really fussed about it as he's expected to leave at the end of the season.

However, for the players and fans, it's huge and they cannot be mismanaged in such a way and clearly deserve better.

He's got to show he's up to the task in the game against Bournemouth now and nothing less than the three points will do, given all the teams around them will be picking up points.
