Leeds United attacker Luis Sinisterra, who's spending this season on loan at Bournemouth, made headlines for the wrong reasons this week.

On Wednesday (13 September), the Colombian, in an international game against Chile ended 0-0.

Sinisterra had the chance not only to score a goal but also to set up his teammate but he made a mess of it and his country's media was not at all impressed with the performance.

El Spectator journalist Juan David Laverde took to Twitter to write, "I've watched this video 10 times and I still can't understand the Sinisterra thing. You have the arch in front and you pass it. You had a great time! It just can't be."

Lacking match sharpness?

While Sinisterra looked good in the few minutes he played for Leeds this season, the quality of the opposition was not commendable.

Had it been the Premier League, perhaps the Colombian would have struggled as he did in the game against Chile.

He clearly seems to have let the Colombians down there as it was a World Cup qualifier and winning away against Chile would be an important result.

Leeds United

He's however, not Daniel Farke's problem to deal with now and the Whites did a very good job ensuring that Jaidon Anthony came the other way.

The Whites did not want to be an attacker shy on deadline day and have no time to replace him so it may be a good piece of business.

Sinisterra's fitness record is also not the best so maybe it's all worked out well for Farke and co.
