Daniel Farke could have been given a blessing in disguise for Leeds United against Plymouth after Jayden Bogle struggled against Bristol City.

Playing the full 90 minutes at right-back in the 0-0 stalemate, Bogle picked up his fifth yellow card of the season at Ashton Gate for a pull on Sinclair Armstrong, ruling him out of United's clash with Plymouth.

As a result, and with Junior Firpo returning from his suspension for five bookings, Sam Byram is expected to deputise for Bogle at right-back, which could prove to be just what the Whites need.

Byram excelled at left-back against the Robins, and switching to his more natural position in place of Bogle may be the best move for both players, as Farke's side looks to get back to winning ways.

Jayden Bogle will be glad to be out of the Leeds United firing line

Bogle's second-half yellow card to trigger a one-match suspension summed up his display at Ashton Gate, as the leggy Peacocks were held to a goalless draw and failed to make it three wins in a row.

Despite United retaining 68 per cent possession on the day [FotMob], Bogle completed just 61 per cent of his 51 attempted passes and registered just 0.02 expected assists, failing to create a single chance.

The 24-year-old also had two shots on goal, missing a big chance from the right-hand side of the six-yard box with one of his three touches in the Bristol box and seeing his only other effort blocked.

Though Bogle completed seven final-third passes, his end product was poor, failing to find a man with either of his crosses and not a single one of his 10 attempted long balls, a hit rate of zero per cent [FotMob].

Bogle's three attempted dribbles also came to nothing, with the former Sheffield United man losing 10 of his 16 total duels, including winning just two of his seven (29 per cent) battles in the air.

While Bogle did put in five defensive actions, including four ball recoveries and two interceptions, his yellow card came following his second foul of the match, winning three free-kicks the other way.

Bogle knows just how relentless the Championship fixture schedule can be, and has shown his quality in other matches this season, taking a week off could be exactly what the full-back needs to get back to his best.
