'He's coming', 'Signed, sealed, delivered' – These Leeds fans thrilled by official Monaco update

It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Leeds United fans have been getting very excited after Jean-Kevin Augustin was revealed as the mystery European striker Leeds have been chasing.

A report in L'Equipe said that Augustin wanted to join Leeds and play under Marcelo Bielsa.

He's currently at Monaco on loan and wants to get out of the rest of his deal there.

There was good news on that front when Monaco released their squad to face Strasbourg in Ligue 1 tonight.

Augustin is not in the squad and that represents the first time that he's been left out of the squad since the very first game of the season after his move from Red Bull Leipzig.

It doesn't mean that a move is definitely happening.

Augustin will be unsettled with all the news but it's a very good sign and it's got plenty of Leeds fans talking on Twitter.

As one fan pointed out, Augustin has been being used out wide when he's come on as a sub in the past few games.

He said that explains the lack of goals and also the striker's desire to get out and join Leeds.

One fan was declaring it all over saying, "Signed, sealed and delivered".

We're not quite at that point and knowing Leeds we're not celebrating until it's officially done and dusted but this is certainly very good news for Leeds and fans are understandably excited.
