Harry Maguire can only laugh as Joe Cole shares verdict 'Leeds fans won't be happy with'
Harry Maguire and Joe Cole have bizarrely laughed at the expense Leeds United on Netflix.
The World Cup is now well underway with various Elland Road favourites jetting out to North America.
There was just the one LS11 ace in action on Monday as Gabriel Gudmundsson featured for Sweden against Tunisia overnight.
Later on, Spain could only draw with Cape Verde in the main talking point of the tournament so far.
Marcelo Bielsa's Uruguay were also in action as they played out a 1-1 draw with Saudi Arabia in Miami.
That result prompted a strange reaction from Cole, whose Leeds-based remarks left Manchester United man Maguire laughing.
Joe Cole clearly not a fan of Marcelo Bielsa
The Uruguay boss is one of the most respected coaches on the globe and is now managing in his third World Cup.
After previously guiding Argentina and Chile to the showpiece tournament, it is now the turn of La Celeste.
Things didn't necessarily start as he would have hoped in Florida as they shared the points in a 1-1 draw with Saudi Arabia.
Bielsa is now looking ahead to group-stage clashes with Cape Verde and Spain with the hope of reaching the round of 32.
There is still time for Uruguay to prove themselves at this tournament, but not before Cole launched a bizarre rant about the former Leeds boss.
Speaking on the Netflix edition of The Rest is Football, he said: "I think he's a myth. I've done my homework and he's been managing for over 30 years.
"He's won three Argentinian titles and the Olympics, but that's a youth tournament effectively, plus he won the Championship. Leeds fans won't be happy, but I've got no plans on going there anyway.
"He sits on a bucket... three titles in 30 years. Not for me. I won't be going to Leeds anyway."
That left Maguire chuckling away next to him as the duo showed true disrespect to Bielsa in front of the world.
Why do Leeds United fans love Bielsa?
For Cole and Maguire to laugh and suggest that the Argentine is overrated proves that they don't truly understand how iconic he is.
All you have to do is ask any Leeds or Newell's Old Boys fan and you'll understand exactly why he isn't just someone who "sits on a bucket".
He brings personality to the sidelines and is brutally honest while also bringing a play style that people want to watch.
Leeds instantly became one of the most attractive sides to watch in England under his reign as murder ball came into full flow.
Every single player loved playing under him at Elland Road and he certainly got the best out of them.
Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford, Luke Ayling, Stuart Dallas, the list goes on, all improved under his management and constantly reference him for their career development with him in their corner.
Bielsa is also the man who dragged Leeds from Championship obscurity after 17 years which will never be forgotten.
Cole may see him as the man who has never achieved anything of note, but that doesn't change how adored he is in West Yorkshire.
