Stan Collymore has predicted that Leeds United will pick up a point in their Premier League opener against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Whites travel to Anfield to take on the Champions in their first top-flight game in over 16 years as they start a tricky first six fixtures.

Marcelo Bielsa's men entertain Liverpool before games against Fulham, Sheffield United and Manchester City.

Collymore believes that Leeds will attack Liverpool on Saturday evening, and get some joy from doing so against the Reds in a 1-1 draw.

"I think Leeds will go after Liverpool and I think they'll get some joy doing it," he wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Leeds are the only newly-promoted side to be backed to pick up points this weekend by Collymore, who predicted that West Brom and Fulham will both lose 3-1 in their openers.

Even Klopp admitted that he wouldn't have chosen to face Leeds this weekend, claiming that the Whites will be a nightmare to play against for many this season.

The German believes that Bielsa's high-intensity style will suit the Premier League more than it did the Championship in the past two campaigns.

Time will tell, and any Leeds fan would take a 1-1 draw if it was offered to them at this very moment less than 12 hours before kick-off.

The bookmakers think otherwise though, with a score draw currently as high as 9-1 - the same price with Liverpool are backed to win 3-1 in the game.
