Gabby Agbonlahor has been watching some of Leeds United's international stars during the break.

The Whites have several players out on international duty, with many performing well for their respective countries.

Tarik Muharemovic and Nico Elvedi both scored for their nations earlier this week, while Anton Stach is set to return early after being used in one half of Jurgen Klopp's 44-man Germany squad.

Jaka Bijol and Gabriel Gudmundsson are still away with Slovenia and Sweden, as Dan James and Ethan Ampadu are both gearing up for Wales' game against Norway this Thursday.

There are others also away on duty, with Daniel Farke keen for his players to all return to LS11 unscathed.

However, Agbonlahor has made it clear that he thinks one of Leeds' players is not good enough for his international team.

Gabby Agbonlahor rips into Dominic Calvert-Lewin with cold England take

The Whites have had another strong start to the season, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is one of several players to thank.

The striker came to Elland Road last summer, joining as a free agent after his contract with Everton expired.

There were plenty of eyebrows raised at the move, with the 29-year-old clearly low on confidence and constantly fighting injury issues.

He was given the call-up by Thomas Tuchel, along with teammate James Trafford, who both featured in England's squads against Spain and the Czech Republic.

While speaking live on talkSPORT on Thursday, Agbonlahor ripped into Calvert-Lewin, explaining that he can see Nottingham Forest's Liam Delap getting into the England squad soon.

Agbonlahor said: "[Delap's] the one that I'd say his age, the pathway is there for him.

"I don't think Calvert-Lewin is the answer. I don't think he should be anywhere near the England squad. He's not good enough for the level we want to play at."

Calvert-Lewin scored 15 goals for the Whites last season, and though he may not be on Harry Kane's level, he offers Tuchel something different.

But will Delap take his place?

Is Liam Delap better than Calvert-Lewin?

Agbonlahor has suggested that Delap may be able to play support to Kane, if the latter remains on top of his game ahead of the next major tournament.

The striker joined Nottingham Forest from Chelsea in the summer, after only managing to net one Premier League goal for the London club.

The 23-year-old has one goal in four games for his new side, while Calvert-Lewin already has four for the season with the Whites.

It's clear that the Leeds hit-man is the best option to support Kane right now; he just hasn't been given a proper chance for the Three Lions yet.
