Frank Lampard stance on Patrick Bamford transfer emerges after Leeds United exit
Coventry City manager Frank Lampard could potentially be gunning for Premier League promotion with former Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford.
The West Midlands club are in a strong position in the Championship, and it wouldn't be surprising to see them win the league title.
Bamford was spotted at Coventry's training ground on 24 October, and subsequently, there have been suggestions that he could join them as a free agent.
Daniel Farke's team beat West Ham United on 25 October, taking a step towards Premier League survival, and if the English striker does join the Sky Blues, a reunion could be on the cards next season.

Lampard is only doing Bamford a favour by letting him train with his team, according to Coventry Live.
The news outlet reports on 24 October that the arrangement between the two former Chelsea teammates doesn't mean the West Midlands club want to sign him.
It's been claimed that claims of the Sky Blues' manager wanting to strengthen his attacking department aren't true.
Bamford joined the Whites in 2018 from Middlesbrough and became a key player in their return to the English top flight.
The 32-year-old went on to score 17 goals in his first season under Marcelo Bielsa in the Premier League; unfortunately, fitness issues hampered his development in LS11.
In the previous campaign, the centre-forward was a bit-part player for Farke at the West Yorkshire outfit, and it made sense for both parties to part ways in the summer.

Joel Piroe has seen his game time at Elland Road diminish this season as the Whites fight to survive an immediate drop to the Championship.

Dominic Clavert-Lewin arrived at LS11 as a free agent after leaving Everton and has played an influential role for Farke in recent matches.
It looks like the German manager trusts the Englishman to lead the line at Elland Road, but with one goal in seven league matches, the centre-forward may not be the right fit to lead the line at the West Yorkshire outfit.
