Leeds United fans were forced to watch on as Ben White confirmed his move to Arsenal on Friday.

The move will cost up to £50million, and the Whites can sit happy knowing they spent basically half of that on Diego Llorente and Robin Koch.

White was sensational in helping us back to the Premier League, and Brighton decided to play hardball after that.

Taking to Instagram after the move was confirmed, White celebrated his new home after months of discussions.

Luke Ayling and Adam Forshaw were straight to the post to react, and send their best wishes to their former teammate.

"Smash it, mate," Forshaw said.

Finally over.

We are glad that this has finally been brought to a close, and there should be no more talks of White ever moving to Leeds.

His immediate future is all over, and we can move on with both Llorente and Koch ready to continue their fantastic developments at Elland Road.

Forshaw and Ayling are at the other end of their careers to White, and they have seen many players, not many better than the young defender.

The £50million forked out by Arsenal is something we can't compete with until we reach Europe, something which will be the goal this season.

Leeds are on a different path right now, and Victor Orta is much better at identifying talent and bringing out bargains, rather than throwing cash at our problems.

Arsenal aren't at that level yet, although we do wish White the best of luck for his future moving forward.
