Leeds United midfielder Jack Jenkins' move from Leeds United to Scunthorpe United hinges on approval from the FA and the National League.

In an official statement on Monday (8 September), Scunthorpe announced the deal to sign the 21-year-old on loan.

However, before he makes his debut for the club, there are some formalities that need to be completed.

Right call?

Jenkins has made one senior appearance for Leeds and it was under Marcelo Bielsa who put him in the side in the FA Cup defeat against Crawley Town.

Back then, it seemed like he was one good loan move away from breaking into the first team but that's not happened so far.

Last season, the midfielder was out on loan at Salford City where he had a decent time playing for a club aspiring to secure promotion.

He went on to make his debut at Peninsula Stadium in the EFL Trophy against Liverpool Under-21s where he ended up scoring and that goal proved to be the winner in a 2-1 result.

He played 11 games for Salford and will be hoping that he gets more appearances and more goals under his belt this season.
