'Confirmed broadcasting plans' – TV commentator confirms he is working on remaining Leeds games

A career in print magazines that included editing PC Zone, launching PokerPlayer and redesigning The Big Issue has finally led Dave to writing about the love of his life, Leeds United. It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

The build-up for the restart of the Championship season is well underway for Leeds United and we're starting to get very excited.

The EFL has agreed a deal with Sky Sports, which will see 30 games shown live between now and the end of the season.

There's also a deal with iFollow to stream all of Leeds' remaining games.

And LUTV is back as well with popular Leeds commentator, and former Sky Sports man Bryn Law, confirming that he's been asked to come back and work on the remaining fixtures.

Law posted the news on Friday night saying, "@EFL have confirmed broadcast plans for remaining Championship fixtures, confirmation of dates next week, but I’m very happy to say I’ve been asked if I’m available to do @LUFC games for #LUTV. As it stands, the diary suggests I might just be able to accommodate..."

The Championship has decided to go down a different route to the Premier League, where every single match will be shown live across platforms such as Sky Sports, Amazon, BT Sport and the BBC.

Just 30 Championship games will be shown on Sky Sports between now and the end of the season, and that means fans will have to watch alternative streams to get to see every Leeds game.

We can understand why the EFL has done this as it gives clubs the chance to recoup some of the money from lost revenue by selling streams.

Season ticket holders will be able to watch every game for free.

So, the countdown is well and truly on. Leeds United will get their bid for promotion underway a fortnight from now, with Cardiff first on the list of our nine cup finals.
