Dominic Calvert-Lewin won't be happy with latest England reveal, Daniel Farke will be

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is once again in the England squad.

It's exactly what he deserves after his sensational start to the Premier League season with Leeds.

In all competitions, he's already scored four goals for the Whites.

Calvert-Lewin was called upon by Thomas Tuchel last season, but he didn't make the final squad for the World Cup.

Now, though, he's given the German no choice but to re-call him ahead of the likes of Ollie Watkins, Ivan Toney and Dominic Solanke.

Ahead of facing Spain on Saturday in the first of four fixtures, Calvert-Lewin may be looking over his shoulder already.

What has Thomas Tuchel said that won't be good?

The biggest issue in the squad for Calvert-Lewin is Harry Kane.

Yes, he's one of the best strikers ever produced in England, and working with him closely at St George's Park will only be good.

But when it comes to playing time, there's a guarantee that Kane will always get the nod as number nine and captain.

Even with four games coming up, Calvert-Lewin's prospects aren't exactly looking great for the Three Lions.

And speaking ahead of the games, Tuchel has now revealed that Kane is "desperate" to play in all of them.

Calvert-Lewin won't be thrilled with that, but with four games over the next 11 days, surely he'll start one.

Who knows? If Kane gets injured, he's the only other number nine in the squad, too.

What will Leeds think about this?

Daniel Farke has been open with his praise for Calvert-Lewin ever since he signed him.

They've helped each other and got the best out of themselves, with the striker flying after being given the chance at Elland Road.

He's repaid that and more already, with the management of his fitness testament to how he's bounced back from the poor end to his time at Everton.

Now, people continue to question his injury record and it only got brought up more with this England call.

Of course, Leeds and Farke will want Calvert-Lewin and James Trafford playing for England, it's great for them and the club.

But, if they come back somewhat rested and ready to go again, it also benefits the Whites on that front.

With Arsenal, Manchester United, Sunderland and Bournemouth to come, it'll be a hard welcome back to the Premier League.
