It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Sky Sports pundit Darren Bent has predicted an upset in the race for automatic promotion but Leeds United fans can relax – it's West Brom that he thinks Brentford will pip in the final five games.

Leeds and West Brom have dominated the top-two spots this season but Brentford are on a late charge.

They've won all four of their games since the season restarted without conceding a goal and host Charlton Athletic in a 6pm kick-off tonight.

If they win that game they would be two points behind West Brom and three from Leeds at the top.

Talking on The Football Show (Sky Sports, Tuesday, 11am) Bent said, "I think Leeds are going to finally get it done. You look at all the run-ins and Leeds have got the easiest.

"I know it’s the Championship and anything can happen but you have to fancy Leeds. I think they’ll get it done.

"West Brom beat Hull but I’ve got a sneaking suspicion Brentford are going to steal in and get that second spot.

"It’s so tight at the top. Leeds are the only definites for me and I think they’ll get promoted."

Brentford have been the standout side in 2020 and while we'd prefer their gloriously late promotion charge to fail, the perfect scenario would be for both Leeds and Brentford to go up.

Leeds fans have still got a huge soft spot for Pontus Jansson and it would be ironic if he moved to the only other side to get promoted automatically this season.

He's already said his dream is for Leeds and Brentford to go up and we've got no issue with that.

However, saying that, we're rooting for Charlton this evening and hoping that former Leeds man Lee Bowyer can do us a big favour.

Sorry Pontus, nothing personal, but the last thing Leeds need is to go into the game against Stoke on Thursday two points behind West Brom at the top of the table and just three points ahead of Brentford.

Once Leeds are promoted we can start rooting for Jansson again.
