Leeds United going top of the Championship with a 4-3 win at Swansea City didn't stop one fan calling for Daniel Farke to be sacked.

Jonathan Buchan posted on X shocked (24 November) following full-time at the Swansea.com Stadium, after a supporter rang into BBC Radio Leeds demanding for Farke to be sacked despite the victory.

Wilfried Gnonto's added-time winner sent the three points Leeds' way after they had let a 3-2 advantage slip in the 90th minute, although Farke's side had already come back from behind twice to lead.

BBC presenter, Buchan said: "Getting a call stating the manager should be sacked... after a 4-3 win to go top of the table.

"17 Years in broadcasting – first time for everything I suppose."

Daniel Farke sacking would be lunacy from Leeds United

The Whites have been far from perfect at times this season, but the table reads that Farke's side are now top of the tree on goal difference ahead of Sunderland and Sheffield United.

Twice coming back from behind to take a 3-2 lead – which they then gave up and reclaimed within two minutes of one another – shows the character Farke has helped to instil in his truly United team.

Making an arguably unpopular decision to start Manor Solomon ahead of Gnonto, Farke's choice was justified by the winger scoring twice, and Gnonto still made his mark off the bench with a late winner.

Criticism of the style of football employed by Farke – not helped by many teams looking to sit deep and nullify the Whites – is sometimes warranted, but their rapid transitions worked a treat in South Wales.

With this season's only goal being to get back to the Premier League by any means necessary, Farke has shown that he's more than capable of adding a third Championship title to his resume.
