Leeds United may choose to act and sack Daniel Farke if Cardiff City pick up the three points on 21 September.

The German failed to get Leeds up last season and is already facing the pressure five games into the current campaign.

The Whites sit in ninth place with only two wins so far and could drop out of the top half come the end of next weekend.

This comes after they suffered a 1-0 loss at home to Burnley on 14 September, a game which they ended with ten men.

Leeds United must not waste time and sack Daniel Farke ASAP

A loss against Cardiff might well seal Farke's fate at Elland Road which may see the San Francisco 49ers, Paraag Marathe and Angus Kinnear make a joint decision, not because of the defeat itself, but due to the cumulative frustration among fans over his inability to extract the best from a squad that many believe has the quality for promotion.

The German's tenure has been marked by a lack of tactical innovation and failure to capitalise on the team's potential, leading to underwhelming performances and results.

The expectation at Leeds, given their history and the calibre of players at their disposal, is for a manager who not only understands the Championship but can elevate the team's play to outperform it.

It's essential that the 49ers bring in a manager with fresh, possibly higher-calibre ideas, someone who can command a significant salary due to their proven track record or innovative approach.

This new appointment would signal Leeds' ambition to not just compete but dominate, using the current squad's capabilities to secure promotion.

The demand for change stems from a belief that with the right leadership, this Whites side has all it takes to return to the Premier League.
