Daniel Farke is under an immense amount of pressure to get Leeds United back to the Premier League this season.

Not that long ago, it seemed almost nailed on that Leeds would be back in the Premier League next season, though the feeling has changed drastically over the last few weeks.

Leeds have managed just one win in their last five, with their latest 2-2 draw with Swansea City a showcase of their drop in form.

Farke simply needs to get Leeds promoted this season, and given the squad and tools he has at his disposal, it would be a disaster if he failed to do so.

Leeds could sack Farke if promotion isn't achieved

With seven huge games remaining, Leeds need to pick up as many points as possible; otherwise, it could have some drastic effects moving forward, according to Paul Robinson.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News after the potentially damaging Swansea draw, Robinson said: "The only thing he can do is earn promotion. Farke's got to get promoted to the Premier League to save his job.

Leeds are second in the Championship heading into the final seven games.

"Let's not forget, this is the second opportunity that Daniel Farke's had as well. He's given another opportunity this season, and I can understand why.

"You look at his CV and you look at how close they came last year. Disappointing playoff defeat against Southampton. Giving him another year, this year, is looking like the right thing to do. I still believe that they'll get it over the line, but I think that if they don't go up, there'll be a managerial change."

Farke has no excuse to fail in Leeds promotion bid

Farke will be afforded no breathing space or room for excuses if Leeds don't get promoted.

With the squad he has had available, and his unwillingness to sanction new arrivals in January, this season is entirely his doing.

Seven massive games remain for the Whites, and they may need to win at least six of them to secure their spot back in the top flight next season.
