The Leeds United Under-23 line-up for today's top v bottom clash in the Premier League 2 has been announced.

It's another strong line-up for the second-string side with first-team players Jamie Shackleton, Robin Koch, Gaetano Berardi and Ian Poveda all starting.

In attack, the three bright hopes of Leeds United fans all start – Sam Greenwood, Joe Gelhardt and Crysencio Summerville.

Cody Drameh only makes the bench after being one of the strongest performers for the Under-23s this season.

The team news was announced on the official Leeds Twitter page, where you can watch the game for free when it kicks off at 2pm.

Another 3 points incoming

West Brom are rock bottom of Division 2 with Mark Jackson's side 10 points clear at the top.

Stoke in second have a game in hand but it would take a remarkable run of results for Leeds not to win promotion into the top tier of Premier League 2.

That would be a fantastic achievement and would mean that our youngsters get to play regularly at a much higher level next season, against the likes of Man City, Tottenham and Chelsea.

That will be another step in the evolution of the club and could mean an even closer link between the under-23s set-up and the Leeds first-team.

With Poveda, Gelhardt, Greenwood and Summerville all starting, we're expecting goals and another three points.

And, with Berardi and Koch at the back, we're also anticipating a clean sheet for the Under-23s.
