Ben Parker pinpoints Wigan 27-year-old as 'big threat' for Leeds on Saturday

Ben Parker has pinpointed the threat of Wigan Athletic defender Cheyenne Dunkley in the build-up to the clash with Leeds United on Saturday.

The 27-year-old enforcer has scored five goals in the Championship, more than attacking options such as Kieffer Moore and Josh Windass this season.

Leeds have not been good defending set pieces this season and conceded from one again in the 3-2 win against Millwall on Tuesday – they will have to be wary of the threat posed by the likes of Dunkley.

Parker claimed that the Latics don't have the quality players that the Whites have available to them, and therefore have to try and score goals in other ways, including set-pieces and long balls.

"The big threat is Dunkley," he told LUTV.

"Centre-half, he's their top goal-scorer. So, obviously they're strong at set-pieces. What they do, they fight for the second ball."

It was Luke Ayling who lost his man far too easily to concede the first goal on Tuesday, and the marking must simply get much better from dead-ball situations for the Whites.

Dunkley has won 4.1 aerial battles per game this season, but it is Moore who is impressing in that area, winning 7.9 according to WhoScored.

Leeds aren't the strongest in the air, which is highlighted when you consider the fact that only Liam Cooper averages more than four aerial duels won per game.

Bielsa knows his side needs to improve in those areas, but if they can replicate the second half against Millwall for the majority of this clash, they won't need to worry too much about that.

The Whites kept 69% possession of the ball, as well as completing more than double the amount of passes and shots on goal as Millwall as they completely tore the Lions apart, something which fans hope will be on the cards once again on Saturday.
