It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford is riding high in the Premier League after scoring six in six in the top-flight.

He capped off a great start to the season with his first Premier League hat-trick in a 3-0 win against Aston Villa last week and it's left Leeds in fifth.

However, Bamford has said that Bielsa thinks he can get even more out of the current crop of players – and the striker believes that too.

Talking on the White & Jordan show on talkSPORT on Thursday morning (10.30am) Bamford said, "Last time in the Premier League I had belief but I didn't have the chance to show it.

"Since Bielsa has come in he's put his faith in me. It was tough times last season, but even if I wasn't scoring he had belief in me. I feel I have to repay that faith.

"But Bielsa thinks he can improve us more and more, and we believe that too.

"There's no let-up. Even if we'd won all of our games that would probably make him more intense and that's how it should be."

110% for Bielsa

There was a famous Bielsa quote after his first season in charge ended in play-off failure.

Bielsa said he wasn't sure if he could inspire his side to greater heights again.

Well, he's proved he can – and then some, and it seems like he now has even loftier ambitions.

Bamford was a real footballing journeyman before Marcelo Bielsa came into his life.

He's talked about being shunned at Burnley by Sean Dyche because of his middle-class and intellectual upbringing.

But, he's proved that he can live at the very top of the game in the Premier League this season.

Kalvin Phillips was the standout player who's been transformed by the Bielsa project at Leeds.

If Bielsa goes on to turn Bamford into a regular England striker then it would arguably overshadow Phillips' rise at Elland Road.

After all the pelters Bamford has received, from Leeds fans among others, we're delighted to see him among the goals – as much for him as for the club.
