Ally McCoist has backed Leeds United to improve once again in the Premier League during the 2021/22 campaign next season.

The talkSPORT pundit believes that Marcelo Bielsa will still be in charge of the Whites going into the next campaign and building a stronger side.

Bielsa has recently admitted that he can see himself staying in West Yorkshire for the rest of his life, and has made it no secret he would love to stay in charge of the club.

Speaking to talkSPORT on YouTube, McCoist made the honest prediction after being in awe of the Whites since their return to the big time.

"Leeds United will again under that coach who has been wonderful and a breath of fresh air, they will improve again next year," he said.

"I think with one or two additions to the squad, what a breath of fresh air they've been, I love watching Leeds."

McCoist has only predicted one or two signings in his vision for next season, but for Leeds fans, it could get even better than that.

Phil Hay has claimed that the Whites could be looking to bring in five fresh faces over the summer to fully establish themselves in the Premier League.

Bielsa has had to deal with the majority of a squad that earned promotion from the Championship, but you have to strengthen as you continue if you want to succeed.

There have been clear weak areas this season, such as the heart of midfield and defence, and with those being reinforced, Leeds could be a different animal in the Premier League next season; it is "wonderful" indeed.
