Things didn't work out for striker Eddie Nketiah at Leeds United when he signed on a season-long loan from Arsenal in the summer of 2019.

He only lasted halfway through that before he was recalled for a lack of game-time.

However, he did chip in with some valuable goals and most Leeds fans were convinced he'd make it at the top level.

That might not be at Arsenal.

TeamTalk editor James Marshment tweeted to say he'd heard that Arsenal might be willing to sell Nketiah for £15m in the January transfer window.

He asked if Leeds fans would have him back and the post attracted plenty of responses.

Leeds fans were mixed on the prospect but the majority think that it's a chapter that Leeds have moved on from.

One fan said he wondered if it was a coincidence that Nketiah had recently talked about how Bielsa had made him a better player at Leeds. Another fan said this was "100% a come and get me" plea.

Another said that he would be an "absolute steal" at £15m even if it was just to move him on for more at a later date.

We're with the fans who think that Nketiah isn't the sort of striker that Leeds need.

We rate him as a quality player but we just don't think that sitting on the bench and watching Bamford score for fun is what he needs at this stage in his career.

Saying that, we'd also be surprised if he does go as cheap as £15m.

Here are the best reactions to the £15m speculation and his comments...
