Daniel Farke has overseen a major improvement at Leeds United.

Leeds United looked nailed on for relegation just a few weeks ago, but a change in fortune has flipped that perspective.

The Whites are unbeaten in their last three, with their last defeat being a narrow loss against Man City, which is nothing to be concerned about.

However, while the results show their improvement, the underlying numbers amplify their progress even further.

Leeds have finally found their goals

Defensively, Leeds have been fairly solid all season.

Joe Rodon has had a brilliant campaign to date, while Gabriel Gudmundsson has emerged as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.

However, their main concerns were in attack, and that was demonstrated by the fact that they scored 10 goals in 11 games before the November international break.

Since then, Leeds have scored 10 in their last five, with the conversion rate of their chances also increased signficantly.

The Whites have gone from finishing just 7.6 per cent of their chances to finding the back of the net with 14.3 per cent of their attempts on goal.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin's return to form has helped, but Farke also deserves credit for the way he has changed things at Elland Road.

Even more so, the 49ers' decision not to sack him now looks fully justified, with it at one stage looking as though it was the only option.

Farke has one more improvement to make at Leeds

Rome wasn't built in a day, and Leeds will not survive in the Premier League just because they've had three decent results in a row.

However, the signs are there, and they are positive.

With that said, addressing their away form is the next priority for Farke, with the Whites having won just once on their travels this season.

That was away to bottom-placed Wolves back in September.

This isnt a Leeds issue as such, with the German manager having only won away from home on nine occasions as a Premier League manager.

Address that, and Leeds have every chance of survival this season.
