Noah Okafor drops potential hint he’s staying at Leeds United in heartfelt message
Noah Okafor has shown his appreciation to Leeds United supporters in a social media post that may offer a hint at his Elland Road future.
The 25-year-old forward made the move to Leeds last summer from AC Milan, in a deal worth a reported £18million.
Injuries have disrupted his progress in 2025-26, but overall, the Swiss international has enjoyed a hugely impressive debut campaign in West Yorkshire.
Eight goals and three assists from 33 total appearances doesn’t tell the full story of his impact, whilst his ability has been clear for all to see as well.
As such, there are some question marks over whether Okafor could leave Leeds in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Whites fans everywhere crossing their fingers that this won’t be the case.

What has Noah Okafor posted about his Leeds United season?
Okafor hasn’t ruled out a Leeds exit when quizzed on his future recently, leaving the door open for a summer move away.
That’s got some fans fearing the worst over the coming weeks, as a player of his quality in the prime of his career is sure to have his suitors.
| Okafor’s 25-26 PL stats | Result |
| Goals per 90 | 0.46 |
| Chances created | 20 |
| Successful dribbles | 39 |
| Pass accuracy | 76.2% |
| Average match rating | 6.9/10 |
However, it’s clear that the versatile forward has loved his time at Elland Road this season, which he’s again reaffirmed via a post to his Instagram account.
Ahead of Leeds’ final game of the campaign against West Ham on Sunday, he’s marked his debut Whites term by thanking the fans and everyone connected with the football club for the support he’s been given.
“Debut season out there as a Leeds United player,” Okafor wrote.

“Appreciate every support during the whole season. I don’t stop. See you soon @leedsunited.”
It’s how he signs off here with, “I don’t stop. See you soon,” that could very easily be interpreted as Okafor saying: ‘I’m not going anywhere’.
Okafor’s summer transfer decision is a no-brainer
There’s only one place Okafor should be playing his football next season, and that’s Elland Road.
Daniel Farke‘s side are moving in the right direction, and with some more quality additions this summer to build around an already strong nucleus, and the Whites could very easily be a top half team next season.
Keep progressing after that, and who knows, Leeds could follow the same path the likes of Brighton and Bournemouth have gone down, gradually bettering their league placings before reaching European football.

Okafor is a great fit in Farke’s system too, and he’s ended the season playing his best football in a Whites shirt so far, and is sure to only keep improving.
For these reasons then, Okafor really shouldn’t have any motivation to have one eye on the exit door this summer.
