Milton Delgado emerges as Leeds United target as eight-figure price tag revealed
Milton Delgado has attracted interest from Leeds United ahead of the summer window.
The Whites have plenty of work to do on the recruitment front this summer if they are to progress further than they have this season.
Daniel Farke will be looking to add depth to several areas of his squad, while also upgrading when the opportunity emerges.
With Delgado having emerged as a target, he would be one of the midfield additions needed at Elland Road, though to fulfil which role remains to be seen.
And it has been revealed how much Leeds would have to pay to sign Delgado this summer.

Leeds face competition in Milton Delgado race
Delgado is hardly a household name in English football, though he is starting to become one in his home country of Argentina.
The 20-year-old has made 16 league appearances for Boca Junior this year, and having impressed in many of them, he has garnered interest from the Premier League.
| Liga Profesional Apertura 2026 | Delgado |
| Starts | 11 |
| Successful passes p90 | 51 |
| Tackles p90 | 2.73 |
| Recoveries p90 | 7.23 |
| Fouls won p90 | 1.06 |
El Intransigente have reported that Leeds are one of the clubs to have shown an interest in him.
Boca Juniors have reportedly set a price tag in the region of £13million for the midfielder, who still has three years left on his current contract.
Who is Delgado, and why are Leeds interested?
Delgado is an out-and-out midfielder, though he has the ability to play deeper or further up the pitch depending on the set-up.
With that said, it is certainly his defensive numbers that stand out the most, with the Argentine having won 31 tackles in those 16 league appearances, which places him among the top 11.7 per cent of midfielders in the league.

Only 7.8 per cent of them can boast a better pass completion rate, which, for Delgado, comes in at 87.7 per cent, with an average of 51 completed passes per game.
On the face of it, it seems as though it would be a smart signing for the Whites, with plenty of rewards to reap and very few risks to be taken.
