Leeds United summer exit as good as locked in as Ron Gourlay flies in for talks
Leeds United could be set to say goodbye to Largie Ramazani almost as quickly as he returns this summer.
The Whites sent the Belgian out on loan to La Liga after Daniel Farke was unable to offer him the regular game time he had been seeking.
Although he has scored six goals and provided one assist at Valencia, it has not been the most productive spell overall. Even so, Los Che remain keen to turn the move into a permanent deal.
The 25-year-old still has two years remaining on his current contract, with his loan due to expire at the end of the month.
Ahead of discussions, Valencia CEO Ron Gourlay has travelled to England to help push a potential permanent transfer over the line.

Valencia keen to progress talks as Leeds exit on the cards for Largie Ramazani
Leeds have lowered Ramazani’s asking price to as little as £8.6m, which would hardly be a bad outcome considering they have at least had one season out of him.
The former Belgium Under-21 international scored six goals and provided two assists for Leeds as they secured promotion to the Premier League the season before last.

Taking to Instagram, the winger penned a goodbye message to the club, saying: “Mestalla. Thank you.”
However, Valencia themselves are keen to make a deal happen, after his emergence in the second half of the campaign aided Carlos Corberan’s side as they escaped relegation.
As per reports from Valencian outlet TribunaVCF, CEO Gourlay has made the trip to England for several meetings.
It is said that one of these is with Leeds, as the respective clubs look to make progress with a deal that would see the Belgian make a permanent move back to the Spanish giant.
Meanwhile, a separate report from Plaza Deportiva claims that Ramazani is “almost certainly” on his way out of Elland Road.
While Ramazani did not exactly set the world alight at the Mestalla, a move back to the club could be what is best for all parties, with a place far from available in Farke’s Whites squad.
One thing is imperative for Leeds this summer
After securing Premier League survival with games to spare, the next step for Leeds is to continue building, and climb up the standings.
The West Yorkshire outfit recruited well last summer, with their strategy revolving around players in their prime – all of whom arrived and made an immediate impact.
This was felt particularly at home, with Farke’s side turning Elland Road into a real fortress.

This time around, it is imperative that Leeds future-proof the side with talents who will continue to grow with the Whites.
When it comes to Ramazani, he may well have a strong career elsewhere, but it is a gamble that Farke cannot afford to take as he looks to progress in the top flight.
Leeds went stale during their last Premier League spell, resulting in relegation.
Now, it is vital to hold on to the strong experienced core, while adding the necessary talent to match their ambition.
