Leeds United rethink needed urgently amid Anton Stach contract stance
Leeds United need to change their stance on a new contract for Anton Stach.
The German midfielder has been a revelation at Elland Road since signing in the summer from Hoffenheim.
However, the Whites are understood not to be considering offering the 27-year-old fresh terms at the moment despite his exploits.
His current deal that he signed when joining expires in 2029, so the LS11 outfit have major leeway when it comes to his future.
Leeds may have to urgently have a rethink, as his form will surely bring interested clubs out of the woodwork in the near future.

Why Leeds rethink on Stach contract is neccessary
Stach’s deal at Leeds having so long to run, may raise questions about whether there is a need for a new deal to be negotiated.
However, the Peacocks need to ensure that as he is happy as he can be in Yorkshire for the foreseeable future.

His form deserves a pay rise, and that could be the difference if any offers are made for his services when the transfer market reopens.
Daniel Farke rates him very highly, that is clear, as his worry emerged after he was injured in the FA Cup clash with West Ham.
After the game, the boss said: “He’s a key player for us, and I hope it’s not too bad.”
How much does Stach currently earn?
Stach is reported to be on a weekly wage around the £45,000-per-week mark at the moment, which does not reflect his contributions this season.
That is nowhere near the highest earners at the club, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin believed to be on £100,000-per-week, Sean Longstaff on around £80,000-per-week, and Daniel James earning around £75,000-per-week.

He needs to be in line with those players, if Farke’s side are going to enjoy watching Stach for years to come, rather than seeing him more elsewhere.
If the 49ers Enterprises group are unwilling to offer him that kind of money, then he will likely find it elsewhere, as he is only heading on one trajectory, to the top.
Therefore, they need to alter their plans to not hand him a new deal, and get it sorted out quickly as he is one of Farke’s key lieutenants and has been pivotal in their survival bid.
