Leeds United have offered Sporting CP midfielder Hidemasa Morita a two-year contract ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

According to A Bola on 8 May, the deal includes an option for a further year and it remains to be seen whether the Whites can reach an agreement with him.

Only a few days back, sources at Elland Road dismissed Morita as a summer target, making the situation one to keep an eye on for fans in LS11.

The Japan international is said to be keen on playing in the Premier League and could fulfil his dream at the West Yorkshire outfit.

If Leeds are indeed going ahead with the signing of Morita, then they need to re-evaluate their approach for the transfer window.
