Leeds United: Noah Okafor’s contract situation analysed amid ongoing injury issues
Leeds United have been impressed with Noah Okafor despite his regular injury problems.
The 25-year-old sealed a summer switch to Elland Road as Daniel Farke looked to bolster his attacking options ahead of a Premier League campaign.
He has proven to be one of the Whites’ better players when fit and given the opportunity to start for the Yorkshire outfit.
The Switzerland international has managed just 15 Premier League starts this campaign, with fitness concerns limiting that number so far.
Okafor has picked up another injury at Leeds, and we now assess what we know about his contract situation in LS11.

What is Noah Okafor’s contract situation at Leeds United?
The attacker was signed from AC Milan and certainly has the pedigree to be a top player under Farke moving forward.
He may have only managed four Premier League goals this season, but that number would be higher if not for multiple injury worries.
| Injury | From | Until | Days missed | Games missed |
| Hamstring injury | 16/02/2026 | 16/03/2026 | 29 days | 5 |
| Adductor pain | 16/10/2025 | 20/10/2025 | 5 days | 1 |
That has made it difficult for the forward to prove that his £18million fee was worth it as one of the Whites’ many summer signings.
As part of that move, Leeds offered Okafor a reported weekly wage of £72,500, equating to a yearly salary in the region of £3.7m.
He penned a four-year agreement with the LS11 outfit that could see him stick around in Yorkshire until the summer of 2029.

Okafor looks set for another injury layoff with Leeds, while his future in the Premier League is potentially at risk.
Could Leeds sell Okafor already?
There are certainly positives to take from the forward’s move from San Siro, but his availability will continue to cause frustration.
The Swiss forward has shown his quality and the ability to score goals in the Premier League when given the chance.
The problem is that he hasn’t given himself enough chances to do so, with just 15 league starts to his name at this stage.

If that continues until the end of the campaign and into the next, there is every chance that Farke will grow impatient.
That may see Leeds move to sell Okafor and cut their losses, especially if his injury troubles become more of a problem.
